Overview

Attractions Ontario is the leading non-profit association for the attractions sector. 2008 marks the Association’s 25th Anniversary as an Ontario tourism stakeholder. Attractions Ontario is the only province-wide trade association dedicated exclusively to the attractions sector of the tourism industry and boasts a membership of over 500 attractions and tourism related organizations, including public and privately owned attractions in numerous categories such as amusement parks, historical sites, cultural activities, arts & entertainment and adventure.

Our primary focus is to develop effective marketing programs that optimize attendance for our members’ attractions. The diverse attractions throughout this Province are demand-generators and one of the primary reasons why people choose to visit and travel throughout Ontario. We actively encourage travel in Ontario by promoting the products and services of our members through our annual Passport Magazine & Coupon Book, our website (www.attractionsontario.ca) and other partnerships and initiatives.

We are regionally focused throughout Ontario and our Board of Directors reflect the diversity of Ontario’s attractions by providing representation of public and private attractions of all sizes. As a private association, our members network and bond together with the same goals and desires.

Attractions Ontario has maintained steady growth in membership as more and more attractions and businesses have realized the abundant benefits and amazing value of being a part of the only association committed solely to the attractions community. We are the voice of attractions in Ontario.
