My husband and I took our 11 year old grandson, Cole, and his best friend, Josh, to Canada’s Wonderland this past Tuesday. We had such a fantastic day. The weather was perfect for our long day. Sunny, 24 Degrees C, and a light breeze. We were all up at 6:30 am and left from here, Corbeil, Ontario, at 7:00 am. We arrived at Wonderland at 10:15, just as it had opened. We synchronized our watches with the boys and off they went to hit the rides and games. We arranged to meet at the front entrance, near the beautiful flower display of our Canada Flag, at 1:30 pm. They were both so excited.
Glenn and I headed out by ourselves to see the sites and great sounds of everyone having such a great day. I took some great pictures while touring and watching the brave people on the enormous rides. I would not go on them though, too much of a chicken!
The boys showed up at our meeting place at exactly 1:30. By this time they were tired and very hot. We agreed to head to the water park so that they could go swimming and go on all the water rides. The first thing we did when we got there is head to the Wave Pool area and had a very, good, large pizza with some coke. We continued to relax while the boys headed to the water slides and wave pool in this area. A few hours later, the boys wanted to go down the Lazy River, so we gathered up our stuff and headed that way. Once there, they went on the Lazy River 3 or more times, then the water slides in this area. After a few hours there, we decided to separate again and they would go back to the rides and we would continuing our touring. We synchronized our watches again and agreed to meet at our same spot at 6:00 pm. They went on more rides, won a few stuffed characters at the game booths.
Glenn and I splurged on a Funnel Cake. It was sooooo good. The boys met us at 6:00 pm and we all agreed that we were very tired and ready to head back home. It was 10:15 pm before we got home that night, but it was all so worth it. I got some great pictures of our day at Canada’s Wonderland, including some great shots of the two boys.
The only mishap we had was when my grandson lost his T-shirt, or did I lose it???? He got a new T-shirt out of this loss and was more than happy about it.
