ADELE THE TRUMPETER SWAN GOES TO SCHOOL

Wye Marsh launched their newest education program at Rama Central Public School last week. This one

of a kind program provides a rare opportunity for students to come face to face with a live swan. The star

of the show is Adele, the Trumpeter Swan, whose egg was rescued by the Wye Marsh.

Grade 1/2 students at Rama Central Public School spent an hour with Adele. They heard

They heard the story of the Trumpeter Swan in Ontario and about how large numbers of volunteers

worked to bring this extraordinary species back from the brink of extinction.
